Southern States is proud to announce that Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA), the nation’s sixteenth largest public power utility based on generation, has successfully deployed Southern States’ ES-1 three-way switches as part of their transmission reliability program. With their headquarters in Vinita, Oklahoma, GRDA operates a diverse portfolio of hydro, coal, natural gas and wind generation to produce reliable electricity that reaches into 75 of 77 Oklahoma counties.
As detailed in the full news release, the ES-1 three-way switch reduces the average installation time by 50% and offers greater long-term reliability.
