Election to the NAE is one of the highest professional honors accorded an engineer, recognizing outstanding engineering contributions in business, education, research, government, and other organizations. John joins the 128 national and 22 international new members and is being recognized “for advancing the application of power electronic controllers to improve power system performance and grid reliability.”

With over 35 years of experience in the electrical industry, specializing in transmission and distribution products, John’s career and expertise are a true testament to his dedication to both the industry and the advancement of our world’s grid infrastructure.
