Southern States recently selected five Henry County students as winners of its Engineering, Science, & Arts Scholarship for 2014. The scholarships are worth $1,000 each.
The winners are Adrianna Gomez from Dutchtown High School, who plans to major in Electrical Engineering at Ohio University; Ashley Fleck from Eagle’s Landing High School, who plans to major in Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech; Austin Peete from Dutchtown High School, who plans to major in Computer Science at Brown University; Christal Hayes from Stockbridge High School, who plans to major in Biology at Georgia State University; and Kyle Haney from Woodland High School, who plans to major in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Georgia.
