The Southern States LBI™ Load Break Interrupter is designed to easily upgrade group-operated vertical break and side break disconnect switches by enabling them to interrupt load, loop, and line currents — all within a compact, sealed vacuum chamber. By eliminating linkage-based multi-device interruption, the LBI™ simplifies system design and increases long-term reliability.

With models available through 72.5 kV, the LBI™ is compatible with most Southern States switch platforms and select third-party models (contact factory for details). Its PET housing resists UV degradation and keeps the unit lightweight for easier handling and mounting.
