These compact, adjustable switches provide remote indication and interlocking control with durable, maintenance-free construction.
Southern States AVS-1 and AV-1 auxiliary switches are designed for remote status indication and electrical interlock control — most commonly for line and grounding switch positions. Built for long service life with minimal maintenance, both models feature simple linear circuitry, visible switching points, and easy pole-by-pole adjustment. Housing removal allows full internal access for quick configuration in the field.
The AVS-1 offers the most robust, trouble-free service on the market, while the AV-1 variant is tailored for special applications where vertical pipe-driven operation through gear segments is required. Both models are available in configurations from two to eighteen poles, with either linkage or gear-driven actuation.
