These switches are engineered for single-pole or group-operated applications to safely ground substation components during inspection, maintenance, or replacement of capacitor banks, circuit breakers, circuit switchers, and other equipment.
They can be installed as stand-alone devices or as attachments to disconnect switches, circuit switchers, and related equipment. Operation can be configured for a manual swing handle, manual gear, electric motor, or hookstick, with a chart available to specify configurations by kV class and short-time current rating.
