Southern States Type BP, BPA, and HPA power fuses provide economical, space-saving protection for small to medium-sized power transformers, potential transformers (PTs), station service transformers (SSTs), and capacitor banks. With no need for relays, batteries, or motorized mechanisms, these fuses are a smart choice for applications with limited space, tighter budgets, or infrequent switching demands.

Designed for medium and high voltage systems from 7.2 kV to 169 kV, each fuse is rated for up to 400 A and interrupting capabilities up to 40 kA RMS Asymmetrical. Unlike many alternatives, Southern States fuses are built for three full fault operations before tube replacement — significantly reducing lifetime maintenance costs.
