UPDATE: January 2022
With the increased transmissibility of the COVID-19 Omicron Variant, Southern States’ and its suppliers are facing increased challenges to meet our customer’s needs. Southern States continues to work hard to fulfill open orders and deliver critically needed materials. We recognize the role we play as an essential provider of products and services in maintaining reliability of the electrical grid and, by extension, preserving lives.
Southern States has taken all prudent measures to protect our employees and their families during these extraordinary conditions. We have dispersed salaried workers who can be reasonably effective while working remotely. We have adopted the most recent CDC guidelines for any of our exposed employees to return to work. Our facilities are open, but we are restricting customer visits.
UPDATE: March 2023
Although COVID-19 appears to be behind us, Southern States’ and its suppliers are still facing challenges with supply chain and logistics issues. We continue to run at full capacity in our manufacturing, customer service / technical support, and shipping areas with no internal issues at this point. Southern States continues to work hard to fulfill open orders and deliver critically needed materials to our customers.
We recognize the role we play as an essential provider of products and services. Assisting our customers in maintaining the reliability and resiliency of their electrical grid remains our main priority.
Southern States’ employees have returned to work in our facilities, and we are back open to customer visits. We are proactively monitoring any incidents that might occur as everyone’s health and wellbeing is our main priority.
Thank you for your support and cooperation through these unpresented challenges. We look forward to serving our customers to meet their needs.
Thank you!
