Broadest array of outdoor air disconnect switches in the world

Southern States manufactures the broadest array of group operated outdoor air disconnect switches of any supplier in the world. Switches are available from 8.25 kV through 800 kV with continuous current ratings of 600 amperes through 6500 amperes. Five basic designs are offered: Vertical Break, Center Break, Double End Break, Single Side Break and Pantograph Switches. Variations of the pantograph design are available as Semi-Pantograph (SSP) or Full-Pantograph (VR2D).  Likewise, variations of the Center Break and Double End Break designs are also offered in a "V" configuration minimizing structure cost and real estate requirements. In addition our new ES-1 side break switch is designed for phase-over-phase mounting for 72.5 kV-145 kV transmission lines. Manual operators (swing handle type or gear crank type) and electric motor operators can be furnished for any of the available types and ratings.
