SF6 HORIZONTAL CIRCUIT SWITCHERS
Southern States CSH and CSH-B horizontal interrupter circuit switchers
provide economical, versatile, space saving solutions for fault protection
and switching applications. In addition to their traditional application of power transformer protection, the CSH and the CSH-B are also suited for use in line or cable switching and protection, capacitor switching (non-transient mitigating) and protection, reactor switching and protection, and series capacitor bypassing. The CSH is a non-blade
model unit while the CSH-B is a blade model unit whose interrupters
mount in series with an integral, vertical break disconnect switch.
The
CSH and the CSH-B can be installed on a Southern States furnished support
structure with a wide variety of structure height and phase spacing
combinations to suit essentially any installation requirement or can
be adapted to many existing support structures--even for installations
requiring vertical or inverted mounting of the circuit switcher. They
are also the most capable circuit switchers available for mobile applications.
Other key features include fast interrupting speed, single gap puffer
interrupters with long contact life and multi-time fault closing capability,
and circuit making within the interrupter (not on the disconnect blade).
