Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, scheduling, and procuring materials and services of a technical and specialized nature and for managing inventories required to support customer commitments.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Related Bachelor’s degree

·         Minimum of 1-2 years of purchasing experience in/for a manufacturing environment. No

            experience required for recent graduates whose coursework included some engineering or other technical classes.

·        Excellent computer and organizational skills.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to above minimum):

·        Experience reading blueprints

·        Experience purchasing machined parts, various types of fabricated metal, raw metal materials, or castings.
